2022-2023 Leadership Staffing News

 

CMSD82 2022-2023 Leadership Staffing Announcement – May 26, 2022  (PDF Format)

 

The Board of Education for Coast Mountains School District wishes to announce the following Leadership Staffing changes for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year:

Effective August 1, 2022, Phillip has accepted the full-time position of District Principal.  He currently holds the position of Principal at Skeena Middle School and the part-time position of District Principal.  Phillip is highly respected and an exceptional long time educator and administrator in Terrace.  He has demonstrated exemplary leadership in serving in the role of Principal at Skeena Middle School and in the part-time role of District Principal.  The experience, insight and dedication that Phillip brings to the District Principal role will benefit the school district immensely from his strong leadership background, as an effective team builder and communicator, and proven commitment to student learning and building relationships.

Currently, the Vice Principal at Skeena Middle School, Darlene is appointed to the Principal position at Skeena Middle School effective August 1, 2022.  Darlene has always demonstrated dedication and passion in her profession and current role.  She has an understanding and respect for local diverse cultures and the importance of community involvement in making a difference in the lives of young people.  Darlene is a passionate advocate for student success and has a reputation for bringing an enthusiastic, team-focused approach to everything she does.  Students, staff and parents will benefit from Darlene’s proven commitment to student learning and her reputation as a team builder.

Phillip and Darlene welcome these new professional career opportunities.  We extend our congratulations to Phillip and Darlene on their appointments and wish them every success in their new roles for the 2022-2023 school year.
